Shenzhen Cantonese Opera Company
Established in 1980, the Shenzhen Cantonese Opera Company has produced many talented Cantonese Opera artists, including Feng Gangyi, the first artist in Cantonese Opera to have won the Drama Plum Blossom Prize twice; Lai Qiongxia, another prizewinner of the Drama Plum Blossom Prize, and Huang Weiku, a famed artist throughout Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macau and Singapore; and Lai Qiongxia, who has won the Drama Plum Blossom Prize, etc.
A graduate from the Guangdong School of Cantonese Opera in 2001 and a student of the Cantonese Opera master Chen Xiaofeng, Xiaoyi excels at playing the role of "clean-shaven scholar-warrior" (文武生). He won the Golden Prize of the 6th Guangdong Drama Performance Competition in 2008 and the Golden Award of National Drama Culture Award in 2013.
Graduated from the Guangdong School of Cantonese Opera in 2001, Wu Simin's specialty is playing the role of the "young belle" (花旦) who is skilled in martial arts. She won the Silver Prize of the Guangdong Drama Performance Competition in 2006, and the Performance Award of the National Drama Culture Award in 2013.
Tan Lanyan entered the Zhanjiang Little Phoenix Cantonese Opera School in 1997, where she was under the meticulous tutelage of famous Cantonese Opera artist Kong Queping. She won the Golden Prize of the 6th Guangdong Drama Performance Competition and the Performance Award of the National Drama Culture Award in 2013.
Li Cuicui holds the title of "National Second Rank" of performers, is a member of the Guangdong Dramatists Association, and a rising talent in leading role of Cantonese Opera. She has previously acted in 《紅梅記》 "Red Plum Blossom", 《寶蓮燈》 "Lotus Lantern", 《金花女》 "Golden Flower Maiden", 《明士》 "Wiseman", etc. She won the Silver Prize in the Guangdong Drama Performance Competition and the Silver Award at the National Drama Culture Award in 2013.
Loong Koon Tin
Loong is a famous Cantonese Opera actor in Hong Kong. He is the student of the Cantonese Opera Master Chan Kam Tong. He is an all-rounded artist in Hong Kong Cantonese Opera industry that he participates in TV dramas, stage plays, government promotional dramas and radio plays.
Wong Chiu Kwan
Wong is a Cantonese Opera actress in Hong Kong. She is the student of male actress Tang Shan Shan and the vocalist Lau Wing Chuen. She actively participates in the social promotion and education that contributes a lot in the popularization of Cantonese Opera. She received the Award for Best Artist (Xiqu) from HKADC in 2011.
Wang Kit Ching
As a student of Leung Sam Yi, Wang graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. With 17 year of experience, she is good at playing the role of "young belle" (花旦). She received the Award for Young Artist (Xiqu) from HKADC in 2011
Tam Wing Lun
Tam is the student of Cheung Po Wah, Lui Hung Kwon, Ng Cheuk Chung, Susanna Cheng, Lam Kam Tong, Ho Man Leung and Chan Yu Hin. He received the Award for Young Artist (Xiqu) from HKADC in 2013.
